Who is Shelly Burns ?

Shelly is a 20-year veteran in the Health and Fitness industry. She wants to help empower women with her experience, personal coaching, training style,and advice on how to maneuver perimenopause and menopause. 

Her stories and struggle of overcoming this difficult time has lead to the creation of The FIT Menopause Blueprint™. 

Over the past few years, Shelly has helped 100's of women get their desired results in weight loss, energy level improvement, hormone balancing & sleep quality improvement with her online program.

She is very passionate about helping women with their journey physically, mentally and emotionally.

Early Life

Shelly was always playing sports growing up, and there was nothing she wouldn’t have played. She loved being outside and in nature- from climbing trees to exploring caves. Her favorite activity though was basketball. She loved the way it made her feel when she would sink a basket or execute a perfect dribble move for an assist. In 10th grade, she played over in China with the International Sports Exchange, and in 11th grade, she got chosen to play in New Zealand.

Shelly heading to Walsh University in Ohio on a Basketball scholarship. Her team won the NAIA 1997-98 Women's Basketball Championship.


Shelly's passion for health and wellness grew in college as she worked on her Chiropractic degree. She loves to help people feel better in their bodies, whether it be through chiropractic care or personal training sessions. 

Shelly was always interested in the human body and how it worked together when she was a teenager. Still, her passion for Chiropractic really started after she talked with a Chiropractor who inspired her to switch majors from pre-physical therapy to Chiropractic College at Cleveland Chiropractic College, where she graduated second in her class!

To be closer to family, she moved to Hendersonville, NC. She combined both her passions by opening a CrossFit gym and Chiropractic office, where she continues to empower women and leads them to change for the past 20 years.

Giving Back

She LOVES animals.  Any chance she gets she supports animal rescues.  She is a foster failure in that she wanted to keep them all after a weekend together. 

She has four rescues.  One is a three-legged cat, a one-eyed dog, a hurricane Katrina rescue and one was found in a park as a puppy.

Yes, they ALL share the bed...LOL!

Personal Life

Shelly is a very family-oriented woman. She is engaged to the love of her life and together they have four animals they call their children. She has two nephews she adores.

 Shelly loves competing in Spartan World Championships and OCR World Championships. Each obstacle is a challenge and very ninja warrior-like.   She loves a challenge of a long grueling race when your mental toughness gets you through it. 

She can be found riding her motorcycle, reading, mountain bikine in the North Carolina Mountains, working out at the gym, trail running, or hanging on various obstacles while traveling all over the world to her races.
